Iraqi doctors use acupuncture to deliver babies.

Due to the war and the consequent lack of drugs, coupled with the startling effectiveness of acupuncture during C-sections, Iraqi physicians are using acupuncture with their pregnant patients.

According to one obstetrician, it was usually unnecesarry to use pharmaceuticals because the Chinese medical treatment was so useful.
